Play Ball Gresham 2023

On Thursday, June 22nd, Friends of Baseball partnered with the City of Gresham, U.S. Council of Mayors and the Mariners Care Foundation, to offer a free youth Play Ball clinic for youth in the Gresham area. 

At Pat Pfeifer Park, over 200 youth players were out having fun with our Full Count RBI Coaches/Mentors, our FOB Summer Fellows, and trainers from the Mariners Training Center. 
The clinic featured:

• Skills stations led by FOB Coaches/Mentors and FOB Summer Fellows 
• Quickball stations led by trainers from the Mariners Training Center 
• Free "swag bag" for all participants, including a PlayBall T-shirt, and a bat and ball set 
• Ballpark meal and Kona Ice Snow cones for all participants 
• Special Guest appearances by Gresham Mayor Travis Stovall and Gresham City Council Members
