2023 Coaches Clinic Recap

On Sunday, March 19th FOB returned back in person for our 16th Annual Coaches Clinic at McDaniel High School. It was great to see coaches from these leagues all represented at Sunday's event: Beaumont Softball, Cedar Mill LL, Hollywood Rose City LL, Lincoln Little League Softball, Lincoln Youth Baseball, North Portland LL, Parkside LL, Southwest Portland LL, Taborvilla LL, Tigard LL, and Wilshire Riverside LL. 
 
The clinic featured:

• Mentoring from collegiate and pro ballplayers 
• Training and support for volunteer youth baseball and softball coaches 
• Guest speakers: Jesse Hagopian, Mark Zender, Page Mesher, CJ Watson, and Pete Luedemann! 
• Breakout sessions for beginning and experienced youth coaches
• A POSITIVE COACHING ALLIANCE certificate of completion
• FREE COACHES STORE where leagues can pick up donated and gently used baseball/softball gear

Special appreciation to McDaniel HS Athletics and McDaniel's Athletic Director, Tyler Kelleher, for hosting this community event to support youth baseball and softball and thank you, FOB Board Member, Jason Scott - our event Emcee!
