Girls Lead Takes on a Hillsboro Hops Game

Last weekend, Coach Anna, our Full Count Fellows, and 9 campers from the Full Count RBI Girls Lead Softball Program attended a Hillsboro Hops game for a field trip. 
 
The trip provided campers with a tour of Ron Tonkin Field, where campers learned about the team's history and their facilities. The tour was led by women sports professionals, Jen Anderson, the Vice President of People and Culture and Hannah August, the Director of Merchandise and Community Engagement. 
 
The field trip also featured: 

• An autograph session with the Hillsboro Hops players 
• A feature of our campers and program on the scoreboard
• Game of catch on the field 

Our Fellows played a huge role in the field trip as they provided extra help for our campers during the tour and learned more about careers in baseball. The field trip included transportation, chaperones, a Q&A with Jen and Hannah, dinner, and seats to the game.
