We are hiring...does baseball's power to teach start with you?
Do you like to share your passion for baseball and/or sports? Do you like reaching young people with the life lessons inherent in the game? Do you believe baseball and softball should be accessible to all children in our community? Thanks in part to support from Portland Diamond Project, Friends of Baseball is currently hiring for Lead and Assistant Mentor positions in our after school and summer programs starting in October 2019. These positions are hired as part-time hourly positions or interested applicants can apply to be considered for a year-long, 900 hour AmeriCorps Service term offered through our partner, Up2Us Sports. Service award includes training (travel, lodging and food provided) with Up2Us Sports in (Up2Us institute location TBD). Total compensation for part-time or AmeriCorps positions starts at $15/hr.
