Programs
Friends of Baseball and Our Partner Providers can make available in-kind goods and services in order to “play the game.” We collaborate with many like-minded individuals and organizations to meet the needs of leagues and teams where clear need has been established. Each request for assistance is reviewed with an eye toward meeting all needs through in-kind resources. We will, after exhausting all other options, make grant monies available.

Where is assistance available?
Assistance is available in North West Oregon. (See map)
If your organization is located in the state of Oregon but does not fall into our current service region, please contact us as we may have alternative resources for your organization.
When will we be notified if we qualify for a Resource or In-kind Grant?
The Trustees review all requests for assistance on an ongoing basis, with decisions announced four times each year: February, May, August, and November. Submissions should be forwarded no later than the following dates for review in each cycle:
- December 15th
- March 15th
- June 15th
- September 15th
On a very limited basis, requests may be considered in other months to meet an emergency need. All requests are reviewed with consideration given to costs, budget, community support, and the individual participation of the leagues themselves. Leagues must show the desire and ability to partner with Friends of Baseball in reaching this shared vision.
How will assistance be disbursed?
Our first and foremost priority is to secure needed assistance through our network of Local and National Partners. Trustees may also recommend the goods or services come from alternative provider(s) that offer enhancements or cost savings to our pool of resources. Teams or organizations who receive our assistance in any form must forward a letter to Friends of Baseballconfirming implementation and full disclosure relating to this assistance.
Organizations are welcome to re-apply for our support as specific needs occur. Those organizations under serious review will be contacted directly by a Trustee, to include a possible meeting with a Trustee, to establish current information prior to the final notification of support from Friends of Baseball or one of our partners.
The dream begins now.
